Pipe Dreams

tiedyedaveI had a weird dream last night; it was kind of patchwork and had a lot to do with me sneaking around and rings of power and the like. I wonder where the ideas for that one came from (*grin*). And yes, I think the Lord of the Rings movie was more than excellent and should be watched by one and all.
It was also one of those dreams that your brain thinks should go like a story. So, when I woke up at 10, I thought to myself in a half-dreamy state: "Hey, the story hasn't ended yet. I'm gonna have to go back and finish it." And so I rolled over and slept another two hours worth of story/dream. Trippy.
We had plumbing problems today. My dad wasn't too thrilled, especially since it might have been a serious clog, and we wouldn't have been able to get a plumber on Christmas Eve. Fortunately, it wasn't too bad, and we only had to drain of 5 or 6 gallons of dirty kitchen sink water. Wheeeee.
Other than that, it's been kind of slow. Midnight mass ought to be nice. I'm not singing this year for a change; I didn't have any time to learn the music, with finals and presents and all. They've got 10+ men singing this year anyhow. It'll be nice to sit back and listen for a change.
