Sleeping should be me

I should be sleeping, but I wanted to at least make a short post since my lj activity has been low.
All is well with classes. Research methods is likable. Biological Foundations of Behavior is pretty cool, since the professor is young, engaging, and energetic and the material has lots of neuroscience in it. Compilers is pretty sweet; I can tell that Lee is an ocaml hacker at heart. Consciousness and Cognition is fucking beautiful, the material rocks the house and Kotovsky is even better with small classes than with large ones. Da-am.
Artificial life, social-observant AI, human-compatible AI, cognitive expert assistants, a unified language for AI. These are my goals, and I must find a grad school or schools with advisors to match. Thus far my search has been less than fruitful. Gentle reader, I seek your guidance.
Also, on Wednesday I was given one of the highest compliments I have ever received: "You have a damn open way of looking at things". I am aglow.
end of line.
