Air Barony
Jun. 9th, 2003 05:27 amToday was largely uneventful. Went to chruch yesterday, so was free to hang around the house today at will. Mom called home to say hi, apparently she has bronchitis, apparently that's what's been going around the house too. I kept wondering why that cough felt so familiar; I passed it off as a bug and my younger siblings just thought it was allergies. It's almost gone, and I will certainly be back in tip-top shape in time for the War this weekend.
Talked to jbeckens, recently returned from a trip to Baltimore. That was nice. My opportunities to talk to her are infrequent, and thus more valuable when they occur. I suggested that she give livejournal a shot, but she declined, which is cool. Emotional exhibitionism isn't for everyone. :-)
And then the second highlight of the evening: Air Baron. My brother, four of his friends, and I played a fierce, engrossing, 5 hour game of Air Baron. Such a great board game, especially with a slightly higher market share needed to win. We spent the last hour of the game continually trying to beat Toshi back from his eventual victory. What a rush.
Now I sleep, 'cause jeeeeeeyeebus it's late.
